Microtinic C
Microtinic® C is a rumen-protected microencapsulated form of Vitamin C for high yielding dairy cows and beef cattle.
Mammals have the ability to biosynthesize L-ascorbic acid (or Vitamin C) through glucuronic acid pathway in liver. Cows and cattle are essentially dependent on this endogenous synthesis as dietary vitamin C is almost totally destroyed by rumen microorganisms.
Vitamin C in Microtinic® C is microencapsulated in a lipid matrix in order to by-pass the rumen and be highly available at the intestinal level.
